PREPARATION METHOD
BREAKFAST -SOFT PORRIDGE
1. Bring 1L of water to boil
2. Add 2 cups of sorghum meal to the boiling water and stir to avoid lump formation
3. Allow it to simmer for 15-20 minutes
4.Can be served with Milk,sugar,sour milk ,butter etc
LUNCH-SEMI STIFF PORRIDGE
1. Bring 2L of water to boil or 2L of milk to boil(Legala)
2. Add 4 cups of sorghum meal to the boiling water and or to the boiling milk for legala and stir vigorously to prevent lump formation
3. Allow it to simmer for 7-10 minutes
4. Add 2 cups of sorghum meal to the soft porridge and stir using a wooden stick
5. Continue cooking on a reduced fire for about 4-5 minutes
4. Can be served with meat ,soup,vegetables ,sour Milk etc
SUGGESTION
1.In the evenings ,it can be prepared soft or stiff
2.Soft porridge can be served with milk ,butter sour milk etc
3.Sorghum meal can be prepared fermented ,legala and also also as bogobe jwa lerotse
